I was sitting down the other day trying to figure out how I was going to write this note in memory of Joe........no matter
what I write, it will never be enough to discribe Joe and the relationship we shared both as musicians, and as friends. The
Boys of Thunder Canyon spent a great deal of time together, from practicing to playing the endless jobs that we were, and
still are lucky to have. When you play that much music together our love for each other becomes a bond the you just can't
seem to put in words. I will miss our cell phone abusing times on the way home from who knows where yacking about everything
from our kids to the love of our life. Most drummers never get the opportunity to share a stage with someone like Joe, I did,
and I am a lucky soul for that. You all had to be in my shoes when Joe use to show up for a job wearing his favorite shoes......his
CLOGS ! and I use to tell him that this is a country band your in, where's your boots!!, and he would do Mexican dancing for
me all night on stage with thoses silly shoes. you had to be there to see the looks on our faces! As for the boys in Thunder
Canyon Matt, Mike, Gary, and Eric........thank you for letting me feel like I was still a member of thisgreat band, and thank
you Sherry for asking me to play such an important roll in the wonderful services for Joe most of all to Joe's family, his
Mom and Dad....(you created such a wonder human being), and to Erica, and Alex, thank you so much. I miss Joe already, and
find it hard to realize he is not on the other end of that cell phone. I wish the boys of tcb my best, and look forward to

The outpouring of support from fans, friends, and family for the passing of our good friend and bandmate has been overwhelming,
though not surprising because of the number of lives Joe has touched. The members of Thunder Canyon would like to thank all

Since my husband Eric joined Thunder Canyon Band as their drummer last fall, and we only had the privilege of knowing Joe
a short while, we are grieving him as much as all of you who have had the pleasure of knowing him longer. We are both in
disbelief over not seeing or talking to him anymore. I came across this passage that I would like to share with everyone.
It made me feel that Joe would have said this to all of us who are mourning him now: "Remember me with a smile and laughter.
And, if you need to cry, cry for your brother and sister who walk in grief beside you. And, when you need me, put your arms
around anyone and give to them what you need to give to me. I want to leave you something, something better than words or
sounds. Look for me in the people I've known or loved or helped in some special way. Let me live in your eyes as well as
in your mind. You can love me most by letting love live within the circle of your arms, embracing the frightened and sad
ones. Love doesn't die, people do, so when all that is left of me is love, give me away as best as you can."
He will truly be missed.

I just wanted to say thank you on behalf of my family for all of the love and prayers for my father. He loved this band so
much, and was so proud to be a part of it. I don't think I have heard him be more excited over another band that he's ever
been in. I remember when he was sick, and he was so upset because all he wanted to do was get back to the band and start playing
again with his best friends. The support at the wake and funeral was amazing and I know that he would be very touched knowing
how many people showed up in his honor. Matt, I noticed you said that you would like to do something in his honor, if I can
be of any help please let me know!!

Thank You so much some of this message is a repeat of a message i left you several weeks ago but i think it is worth repeating
every show i go to of yours you guys show something that a lot of other bands just dont understand is missing from their shows
you actually care about the people who come to your shows you treat everyone like they are a personal freind And I just wanted
to let you know that after a few years of going to your shows videotaping some and taking pictures at the rest I have to say
that I have a huge amount of respect for you and everything you do I have seen you play to crowds of 5 to 500 people and have
never been disappointed you have something that some other band’s are missing you enjoy what you do and you know how to entertain
and include the crowd no matter how large or small and as a veteran with over 23 years in the us army and 2 trips to Iraq
I really appreciate the way you end every show by dedicating the close to the troops and veterans Matt you are hands down
the best I have ever heard on the national anthem It is always a pleasure to go and watch you guys play and take pictures
or video tape your shows thank you so much for everything you do and i look foward to working with you for many years to come |

Thank you Joesph, and thank you Mike Gary, and Matt. I will miss you all very much. It was a great learning experience, I
can honestly say that there was never, nor do I think there will ever be a band in my life that worked as hard as Thunder
Canyon.To All our family, friends, and supporters...........I salute you. You will be deeply missed, Bud and Grace, Linda,

to lower my expectation somewhat because you , in my eyes are the master.......And last but not least, my replacement Mr.
Cappotta......good luck, and try not to hurt yourself to much when you play at NOTHING FANCY It can be quite a load on you

Great show at the Beach last night! We saw the first one and made it a point to get to last nights show. You are by far the

Saw and heard you at Sylvan Beach last night. I sure hope you guys enjoy what you do because it can't be easy some times.
A lot of work and big headaches. I tryed it once myself oddly enough with a guitar and a john denver song back in 1977.
any hoo--my wife and I just love hearing you guys play. Our summer would not be complete if not for the outdoor concerts
that play around the area and your band is always awesome. Sure hope you keep on doing what your doing for another 16 years.

I'm so sorry we missed your last performance at Johnson Park. It was raining where we live and was sure it was raining in
Liverpool! To my surprise, it wasn't and you performed. Well, maybe we can see one of your performances at LeMoyne Manor.
I think you have a real classy act and all the band members are great too! One question: Do you sing other songs at places
like LeMoyne Manor? I enjoy listening to you sing and would enjoy hearing you sing new songs. P.S. I also bought one of
your cd's, but was saddened that there was only 5 songs on it. Please, if you can, make another cd. I will be the first to
buy one. |

Hey guys
I just wanted to let you know that after a few years of going to your shows videotaping some and taking pictures at the rest
I have to say that I have a huge amount of respect for you and everything you do I have seen you play to crowds of 5 to 500
people and have never been disappointed you have something that some other band’s are missing you enjoy what you do and you
know how to entertain and include the crowd no matter how large or small and as a veteran with over 23 years in the us army
and 2 trips to Iraq I really appreciate the way you end every show by dedicating the close to the troops and veterans Matt
you are hands down the best I have ever heard on the national anthem
It is always a pleasure to go and watch you guys play and take pictures or video tape your shows

Saw you tonight at NH Village Park. Your attitude is wonderful. You're all very talented and I enjoyed listening to your

hey y'all, I was swimming at the beach yesterday...some really nice waves and a fisherman fishing from the shore had a big
hit so we all got out of the water to see what was bending his pole so much. He drew quite a crowd. Finally he pulled out
a full blown stingray (not a skate) with a nice barb on the tail. He got some instrument that looked like a 4 ft. long pliers
and clamped down on the barbed tail, removed the hook from the stingrays mouth and returned him to the sea. I said to the
crowd, "Don't everyone jump back in now at once." Within a few minutes we were all back in the water without incident. I figured
that the stingray hightailed it out of there in a hurry. Even the water is hot here! See y'all soon. |

Hi Rance, my "old" buddy, 'ol pal! I checked out the band on You Tube, like you suggested. What a difference a decade makes!
You guys rock for a country band, I'm impressed. If I didn't live so far away, I'd have to see you live. One suggestion
though, you ought not be throwing the U.S. flag in a pile on the drum stage when you're done with it. Maybe someone off stage
